He joined the Air Force and later moved to Terrace, British Columbia. WARD, Bruce Victor WWII Bruce was born in Willmar, Saskatchewan, on March 6, 1923. He joined the Army on July 15, 1941 and served in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He received the 1939-45 Star, the France/Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Upon returning home, he married Ila Walker and they had five children. Bruce joined the Alameda Legion Branch #267 on October 6, 1948, and had been an active member until his passing on April 19, 2005. WARD, Joyce WWII Joyce was born in Eastend, Saskatchewan, and joined the Army.
