The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 363 SCHULZE, Max Frederick WWII & SPECIAL AREA DUTY Max was born on July 13, 1920. He joined the Army in 1942, serving in England, Italy, Belgium and Holland, and was discharged in 1946. He passed away on August 1, 2009. SCOTT, George Albert WWI George was born at Bracebridge, Ontario, in August 1899, to Ben and Alice, and moved with the family to the Nipawin area in 1910, where he joined the Army at 16 years old. He served overseas with the 5th Battalion CEF in France and Germany. When he returned, he worked at logging and sawmills. In 1923, he married Leora Collison and received land to farm across the White Fox River and raised a family of seven. George was musical and could play any stringed instrument. He was accidentally killed in June 1948. SEARS, Bud WWII Bud was born in Mawer, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army in 1939, served in Europe, and was discharged in 1945. He worked in construction after the war and retired to Saskatoon in 1980. He passed away in June 1981. SEARS, Bob WWII Bob was born in Brownlee, Saskatchewan, in 1928. He joined the Navy in 1945 and served for 25 years. He married Helen Creswell in 1952 and they had three children. They moved to Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
