The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 329 RADBOURNE, Albert William WWII Albert was born on November 12, 1922. He joined the 25th Field Regiment on December 28, 1942 and served in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. He took his basic and advanced artillery training in Canada and embarked overseas and was sent to Belgium as a reinforcement with his unit. After his discharge on March 7, 1946, he married and raised a family and retired to Langenburg. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the France/Germany Star, and the 1939-45 War Medal. REID, Earl E. WWII Earl was born in Renown, Saskatchewan, on March 14, 1921. He enlisted in 1941 in the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps, serving in England, France, Germany and Holland. On his return home, he met his future wife, Eunice Ellaschuk, and married in August 1948. They had two daughters and one son. Earl worked for the CPR and then the CNR for 27 years and was a member of the Watrous, Perdue, Turtleford and Meadow Lake Legions for over 37 years. He passed away in 2002. Earl received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, 1939-45 War Medal, the France/Germany Star, and the Dutch Commemorative Medal was presented to Eunice. REINSON, Wayne D. SPECIAL AREA DUTY & PEACETIME Wayne was born in Melville, Saskatchewan, on June 27, 1950. He joined the FGH, Ldsh (RC) RCD on November 18, 1968 and served in Canada, Cyprus and Europe with NATO, UN Peacekeeping Mission and in peacetime in Canada. He was discharged on July 30, 1993 and has been a member of the Robert G. Combe Branch #61 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 14 years. REINSON, Martin WWII Martin was born in Melville, Saskatchewan, on November 21, 1918. He joined the 27th Battery, 1st Anti Tank Regimental RCA in June 1942, serving in England, Sicily, Italy, France, and the Netherlands. He received his discharge in February 1946. Martin was wounded in Italy in 1944 and returned to active duty. He had been a member of the Robert C. Combe VC Branch #61 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 34 years before he passed away on November 5, 2008.
