The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 293 MURRAY, Richard Henry Gale WWI Richard joined the 20th London Regiment Army Corps in 1914, and was in the service for four years and eight months, and saw a lot of action before being wounded at Vimy Ridge in France. He was discharged in 1918. MURRAY, Thomas WWII Thomas was born in Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan. He joined the Lake Superior Regiment, RCEME Service in March 1942 and went to #1 Advance Base Workshop (Craftmans) overseas and to France in 1944 and Brussels in December of that year until the end of hostilities. After his discharge on February 5, 1946, he came to Langenburg in 1948 and operated a welding shop and retired to British Columbia in 1990. Thomas received the 1939-45 War Medal, the 1939-45 Star, the Defence Medal, the France/Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp and is a member of the Langenburg Branch #250 of The Royal Canadian Legion. NANDINE, Dow George WWII George joined the Canadian Army as a sapper and passed away in 1971. MYLES, Andrew WWII Myles was born in Nipawyn, Saskatchewan, in 1925. He joined the Navy and sailed on HMCS Mastodon on the High Seas and the Pacific. He is a member of Tisdale Branch #50 of the The Royal Canadian Legion.
