He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force 401 Squadron and was killed in action over the skies of England in an accident in 1943. MUIRHEAD, Jack WWII Jack, son of Isabelle and William Muirhead, was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, in 1917. He joined the 10th Field Ambulance and served in Canada, England, France, Holland and Germany and is a long-time member of the Estevan Branch #60 of The Royal Canadian Legion, holding many executive positions over the years. MUIRHEAD, Peter WWII Peter, son of Isabelle and William Muirhead, was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, in 1909. He joined the Royal Canadian Army Service CorpsEngineer Dispatcher working in dangerous conditions in England, France, Holland and Germany. He passed away in 1988. MUIRHEAD, Lawrence “Slim” WWII Lawrence, son of Isabelle and William Muirhead, was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, in 1911. He joined the 1st Division RCASC Transportation Division Army Service Corps attached to the 3rd Canadian Infantry Brigade serving in England. He passed away in 1970.
