She joined the CWAC on December 11, 1941 and served in Canada and HWE and was discharged on March 27, 1943. McANINCH, John Leslie WWII John was born in Loreburn, Saskatchewan, on January 15, 1919. He joined the RCSC on September 24, 1940, serving in Canada, and was discharged on April 9, 1946. He married Evelyn McGinnis on July 23, 1942 in a military wedding in PA. McCLINTICK, Arthur Ross WWII Arthur was born to Ross and Irene at Netherhill, Saskatchewan, on September 20, 1914 and came to the White Fox area in 1934 with his parents. He joined the Army in 1942 and was discharged in February 1946. He married Loretta Cuttres from Toronto on April 3, 1946 and farmed on his Veterans’ land and raised seven children. They moved to White Fox in 1977. Arthur is now deceased. McBAIN, Gordon WWII Gordon was born in 1922 at Togo, Saskatchewan, to Art and Annie, and moved to White Fox, where his father built their house and livery barn and started the dray business in 1930. He joined the PPCLI in 1942 and went overseas, returning in 1945. He married Betty Dixson and they farmed, raising six children. Gordon also drove a school bus and was a member of the White Fox Legion. Gordon passed away in 1995.
