The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 219 KLINCK, Galen Franklin “Pat” WWII Pat was born on October 4, 1917 in Dummer, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Service Corps in 1941 and served in Italy, France and Holland and was discharged in 1945. He was an active member of the Tisdale Legion. Pat passed away on December 5, 1970. KLINCK, Raymond George “Ray” WWII Ray was born on April 24, 1913 in Dummer, Saskatchewan. He enlisted as a rifleman with the 4th Battalion Regina Rifles (CAOF) on March 17, 1944 and completed his training in Shilo, Manitoba, Woodstock, Ontario, and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. His tour overseas took him to England, Germany, Holland and Belgium. He was discharged on June 6, 1946 upon demobilization. Ray passed away on September 28, 1974 and had been a member of the Tisdale Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion. KNIGHT, Muriel Ruby PEACETIME Ruby was born in Langruth, Manitoba, on May 9, 1926 and grew up in Ceylon and Regina, Saskatchewan. She joined the Air Force Reserve in March 1953 as a mobile equipment operator and was remusterred as a clerk and received her commission becoming a Personnel Administrative Officer. On December 31, 1971, she retired as a Squadron Leader and now resides in Edmonton. KNIGHT, Constance Ada WWII Connie was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, on October 29, 1921 and grew up in Ceylon and Regina, Saskatchewan. She enlisted in the CWAC in March of 1942 and served in London, England and Holland. She was demobilized from the Army in 1946 and presently resides in Terrace, British Columbia.
