If so, this is the program for you! Graduates will receive the SIIT Process Operations Technician Certificate as well as be prepared to write exams for the Saskatchewan 4th Class Power Engineering certificate. Students will also participate in oil and gas training through the SAIT SOLIS program. Employment will be found in the oil and gas industry, the mining industry, heating and power plants, OSB plants, in food processing, hospitals and in other large facilities. Employment is usually steady and year-round with good pay. Shift work is common as most industrial operations run full-time. The two-year program is delivered in Meadow Lake from September to April.
