The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 149 EYOLFSON, Sigurdur WWI Sigurdur was born in Gimli, Manitoba, on September 29, 1897. He enlisted in the First Depot Expeditionary Force on May 28, 1918, and served in France in the 3rd Infantry Works Battalion and was demobilized on July 15, 1919. He passed away on November 29, 1980. FALLOON, George WWII George joined the Air Force and served overseas. He was a member of the Smeaton Legion Branch #319. He passed away in 1991. FARMER, Walter WWII Walter was born in the Ingleside District south of Marchwell, Saskatchewan, in 1929. He joined the Army in 1945 and after his discharge, he worked as a farm labourer and in bush camps in the winter. In 1952, he moved to Spy Hill District and took up farming, where he still resides. He married Elva in 1954 and they raised four girls and a boy. FALLOON, James WWII James joined the Air Force and served in Canada. He was a member of the Smeaton Legion Branch #319. He passed away in 1992.
