The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 11 ADAIR, Wilfred H. WWII Bill was born on October 28, 1916 at Treherne, New Brunswick. He enlisted on March 16, 1942 in the Army at Winnipeg and served in the Provost Corps in the United Kingdom, Sicily, Italy and Northwest Europe and with the Occupation Force in Germany. He left the service on August 2, 1946 at Winnipeg as Sergeant. Married with one daughter and three sons, he worked as a miner in Flin Flon, Manitoba, as a country elevator agent with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and also with Canada Post. He was active in Grosvenor Park United Church in Saskatoon and was a member of The Legion at Viceroy, Assiniboia and Saskatoon. ADAMS, Jerry G. WWII Jerry was born on December 8, 1923. He enlisted in the Navy on January 23, 1958 and left the service in 1945. AITKEN, George A. R. WWII George was born at Macoun, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on April 24, 1941 and served in Canada and the United Kingdom. He left the service on January 6, 1945 as Flying Officer. ADAMS, Robert D. NAVY Robert was born at Amherst, Nova Scotia, on January 22, 1941. He enlisted in the Navy on January 23, 1958 and left the service on January 23, 1986 as Lieutenant.
