The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 127 DENSLEY, A. H. WWII A. H. Densley was born on February 11, 1921 at Estevan, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Army on June 11, 1942 and served in the Army Engineers (RCE) in Canada, the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe. He left the service on March 9, 1946 as a Sapper. He is married. DENTON, Charlie A. WWI Charlie came from New Jersey with his parents to Melfort in 1913 and he married Marian McCorquadale in 1914. He had spent time in the Spanish American conflict (Calvary Unit) and was overseas from 1914-1918. Upon his return, he and his wife operated the first post office north of the Saskatchewan River (in their home). They left the White Fox area and Charlie returned in 1950. He passed away in 1951. DERING, George J. WWII George was born on October 22, 1920 at Watrous, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in June 1942, serving in Canada and left the service on October 15, 1945 as a LAC. George is married. DENTON, George E. WWI George came from New Jersey with his parents, Matthew and Hannah to Melfort in 1913 and filed for their homestead in the White Fox area. George gave up his land and joined the Army in 1915. After his return from overseas duty, he worked at many occupations. He passed away in the Veteran’s Hospital in Saskatoon in 1949 at the age of 69.
