The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 121 DAVIS, Tom E. WWII Tom was born on May 13, 1927 at Edmonton, Alberta. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in January 1943 and trained and served at Moose Jaw, Toronto, Mountain View, Ontario, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and with the Fleet Air Arm in Kingston, Ontario. He left the service in June 1946 at Lachine, Quebec, as an LAC. After the war he served in the Army reserves and worked as sales manager for Universal Bindery in Saskatoon and then became chief executive of the bindery. Tom was married and active in hockey and baseball and served as president of the North Park Community for eight years. DAY, J. Stanton WWII Stanton was born on January 18, 1922. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in February 1943 and served in Canada, leaving the service on April 17, 1946. Stanton is married. DEGRYSE, Albert H. WWII Albert was born in Illinois, USA, on July 9, 1916 and came to Canada (Langenburg) with his family in 1930 and married Pauline in 1943 and had a family of two. He joined the Regiment Artillery A.A. on December 22, 1940 and was discharged on July 7, 1941. He worked in construction for a few years before working in a lumber yard in British Columbia and drove a semitrailer for the company to Vancouver and surrounding towns. They semiretired in 1974 and moved to Kelowna, British Columbia. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and has been a member of the Langenburg Branch #250 of The Royal Canadian Legion for over ten years. DEETS, D. W. WWII D. W. was born on June 14, 1920 at Oban, Saskatchewan, and enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in July 1941 and served in Canada and Newfoundland. He left the service on September 28, 1945 as a Flying Officer.
