He enlisted with the Canadian Army during the war and served in England and Continental Europe until his discharge. Oliver passed away in 2000. ABRAHAMSON, Delno WWII Delno joined the Regina Rifles Regiment in 1942 and after special training he was sent overseas. He returned to Canada in 1945 for discharge ADAMS (RAABEL), Carolyn M. Peacetime Carolyn joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1981 and trained at Shelbourne, NS as an Oceanographer. She was stationed in Centerville Beach, California, and later transferred to a US Naval Base in Argentia, Newfoundland, where they watched for Soviet subs, naval tankers and other sub vessels coming back. She was discharged in 1986. Carolyn is now living in Yorkton and is married with 2 daughters Kari & Kayla. ABRAHAMSON, Howard WWII Howard joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and was stationed in England, served in France, Belgium & Holland. He was grounded due to health reasons, to aircraft electrician. He was honourably released & transferred to the Reserve - General section, Class “E”. He was awarded: Defense Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, 1939-45 Star, and Air Crew Europe Star War Medal. He was discharged in 1945.
