He enlisted with the Army and served with the 2nd Canadian A/T Regiment RCA, 20 Battery in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Neville Branch #328. Allen passed away on February 17, 1981. CARLETON, Alvin Elwood WWII Alvin was born on June 15, 1922 on the family homestead in Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Army in 1940 and served with the GNR 2nd Anti Tank Regiment in England, France Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge in 1945. Alvin passed away on January 6, 1997. CARR, John Brownell “Jack” WWII Jack was born in 1921 in Delisle, SK. He enlisted with the Army and trained in Maple Creek. He drove a truck during the war where he served in England, France, and Holland. After the war he drove ambulances from Germany back into Holland. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Delisle Branch #184 for 40 years. Jack passed away in 1996. CARLETON, John “Jack” WWI Jack was born in 1897 in Arnaud, MB. He enlisted with the Army and served in England and Canada until his discharge. Jack passed away in 1962.
