The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 57 BROWN, Norman Clifford WWII Norman was born on October 3, 1921 in Edmonton, AB. He enlisted with the Army on April 28, 1942. He received his training in Canada and then left for overseas on December 12, 1942. While abroad he was stationed in England, serving in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany as a Driver for the Signm. Div until her returned to Canada on December 27, 1945. He received the following Medals: CVSM & Clasp, France and Germany Star, Defense Medal, War Medal 1939-45, and the 1939-45 Star. He was a member of The RCL for 45 years. Norman passed away on December 3, 1996. BROWN, Roy J. Korea Roy joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1950 and served in the Korean War. When the war ended, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. BRUNTON, Milton L. WWII Milton was born on December 21, 1921 in Parkside, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942. He was stationed mostly in Ontario and trained as a Mechanic. He served in Canada until his discharge in 1945. Milton passed away on December 28, 2003. BROWN, Walter C. WWII Walter was born on September 3, 1921 in Yorkton, SK. He moved to Tisdale in 1926 with his parents and then to Snowden in 1932. He joined the Army in 1944 and trained in Camp Borden. In 1945 he was sent overseas to England, Belgium, and Holland as a tank gunner and radio operator. He joined the L.S.H. 5th Armored Division in Holland. He returned to Canada in 1945 and was discharged in 1946. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #205 in 1958 and was presented with a Life Membership in 2003.
