The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 363 WOOD, Robert Albert WWI Robert was born on March 23, 1894 in Stratford, ON. He signed up in Edmonton in March of 1916 and by December 12 he was in Shoreham, England. He was sent to the front in February of 1917. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 40 years. Robert passed away on January 15, 1981. WOOD, Robert Joseph WWII Robert was born in 1915 in Kincaid, SK. He enlisted with the Army and served with the 17th Field Regiment, RCA in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe. He was a member of The Order of The British Empire. He received the France and Germany Star, Defense Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Robert passed away in 1980. WOODS, Franklin WWII Franklin joined the Armed Forces in 1941 and saw action in Sicily, Italy and other European countries. WOODS, Francis WWII Francis joined the Infantry in the Second World War. He got as far as England where he served as an instructor for tank drivers.
