The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 33 BETTINSON (MARTIN), Jean WWII Jean joined the C.W.A.C. in the spring of 1943 and took basic training at Kitchener, ON and driving training at Woodstock, ON. She spent the rest of her Army career in Ottawa and was discharged in 1945. BETTINSON, Richard WWII Richard joined the force in 1940 and served in England, North Africa, Italy, Greece, Canada and Queen Charlotte Islands. He received the Africa Star, Italy Star, Defense Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, War Medal and 1939-45 Star. He was discharged in 1945. Richard now lives in Toronto, ON. BIGRAS, Marion WWII Marion was born in 1923 in Islay, AB. She enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served for 5 years as a Registered Nurse. She was stationed throughout Canada at various Military Base Hospitals including the Yukon. Marion has been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #122 for 15 years. BEVISS, Stuart WWII Stuart was born in 1920 in Franklin, MB. He enlisted with the Army and served with the 101st Battery in Canada, England, France, Holland, Belgium, and Germany until his discharge. Stuart is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 139.
