He enlisted with the Army and served in Northwest Europe and Italy. He was a Life Member of The Royal Canadian Legion Foam Lake Branch #16. John passed away in 1996. TAYLOR, Robert David WWII Robert was born on December 14, 1921 in Carman, Manitoba. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F., Aircrew Division on August 26, 1942. After taking basic training, he graduated as an Air Bomber with a rank of Sergeant. He served at several bases in England, attaining the rank of Field Sergeant in early 1945. He volunteered for service in the Pacific. He was granted a 30-day leave back to Canada, after several postings and the cancellation of the Japanese surrender, he received his discharge on September 12, 1945. Robert has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for 20 years. TEMRICK, Max Nicholas WWII Max joined the Provost Corp of the Canadian Army in Saskatoon on October 21, 1941. He served in Canada, United Kingdom and Continental Europe, France, Germany, and Belgium. He was awarded the 1939/45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defense Medal and Canadian Volunteer Service medal & Clasp. He was discharged at Regina on February 19, 1946. Max joined the Pelly Legion in 1946 and received the 50-year pin. TEMPLETON, Robert WWII Robert was born in 1918. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army during World War 2 and served in Canada until his discharge. Robert passed away in 1989.
