STRONSKI, John E. WWII John was born on November 4, 1924 in Kincaid, SK. He joined the Navy in July of 1942 at the age of 17. He served with HMCS in the North Atlantic on the Frigate Annan. He was a member of the depth crew when it sank the German sub U 1006. He was discharged in January of 1946. He was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion Loreburn Elbow Branch #251. John passed away on May 12, 1994. STRILCHUK, Roman WWII Roman served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II and remained with the Air Services after the War until his retirement.
