The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 301 SEGHERS, Hector H. WWII Hector was born on February 12, 1919 in the Fairlawn District of SK. He took the Aero-engine Mechanic Course in Regina in July of 1941 and he was enlisted on November 5, 1941 for basic training with the R.C.A.F. He went overseas in February of 1944 and served with the 429 Bison Squadron in Leeming, Yorkshire, England, the 410 R.S.U. in Holland and the 127 Airfield Squadron in Germany. He was discharged on January 24, 1946. Following the war he joined R.C.L. Branch #306 and held all executive offices over the years. Hector was killed in an auto accident in December of 2000. SEIM, Ruth WWII Ruth joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and was stationed across Canada at different Airbases. She was discharged in 1945. SHAK, Edgar Sydney WWII & Special Duty Edgar was born in 1922 in Kuban, Russia. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and served in Canada during WWII. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1945 until 1970 with #404, #405, and #407 Squadrons in Canada. SELSKY, Michael WWII Michael was born on November 11, 1924 in PrudʼHomme, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada, England and Germany. He served with the R.C.A.F. Overseas HQ, Canadian War Crimes Investigation Unit. Michael has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Naicam Branch for 50 years.
