The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 1 Greetings are extended to everyone from the Saskatchewan Provincial Command of The Royal Canadian Legion. This is the third edition in the production of which we hope will be a continued series of this commemorative book. The first published booklet contained the histories of the Command and all its Branches within Saskatchewan. The second was a Military Recognition Book honouring Veterans past and present, and this edition is a continuation of that effort. I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for all the family members and Legion Branches that have submitted pictures and information on the veterans that are contained in this booklet. It is a true tribute and a great show of our appreciation for their sacrifice so that we can enjoy our current way of life in Canada. We also recognize all the current serving members that continue to fight for our freedom and democracy. We salute you! Thanks are also extended to the Schools, Libraries and educational facilities that make these booklets available for all in the community to review and enjoy and learn a little more about what the citizens of our communities have done and are currently doing on our behalf. Thanks are extended to Fenety Marketing Services for assisting the Command in the collections of donations and for the production and distribution of the book. It is a huge undertaking! Keep the submissions coming! We will hopefully continue to publish these booklets as long as we have family members and Branches that will send us pictures and information for inclusion in the books. Canvassing for donations will continue, in the late summer/fall for the production of our next Military Recognition Book, so when you receive a call, you will know what it is all about.
