He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Navy and served aboard the Crusader in Canada and Korea. Harry has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Coquitlam Branch #263 for 35 years. REYNOLDS, William Franklin WWII William was born in 1922 in Leslie, SK. He enlisted with the Army and served with the 8th Canadian Reconnaissance in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Leslie Branch #172 for 54 years. William passed away in 2000. RICHARDSON, George Arthur WWII George was born on July 17, 1917 to William Bell and Jemima Mary (Kidd) Richardson. After completing his schooling George joined the Infantry Division of the Canadian Army in 1942. He was stationed in Nanaimo and Port Alberni, BC, and then in New Brunswick. He was discharged in 1944 due to medical reasons. In 1947, George married Millicent Fuller and they raised two children: Colleen, born in 1951, and Allan, born in 1954. In 1966, Millicent passed away. George passed away on January 2000. RICHARDSON, Fred WWII Fred was born in 1917 in Regina, SK. He joined the Regina Rifles Regiment in North Battleford in 1940, going 1st to Calgary where he took a course as a small arms instructor. In September of 1941 he arrived in England. While there, he took four more courses at an English Military School. He took part in the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for 38 years. Fred passed away in 1993.
