He enlisted with the Army and served in Canada, Britain, Northwest Europe, and the Central Mediterranean until his discharge. He received the 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, France & Germany Star, Defense Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45. Alfred passed away in 1991. PEPPER, Frank WWI Frank was born 1882, Leiston, England. He enlisted with the Army and served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in Canada, Britain and France. He was badly wounded at Arras, near Vimy, and was hospitalized in England for months. He received an honourable discharge in 1918. He received the British War Medal and Victory Medal for his service. Frank passed away in 1963. PERRY, John WWII John was born on August 19, 1921 in Regina, SK. He joined the Canadian Army Active in November of 1942 and became a Signaler in the Artillery. He served in England, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany until his discharge in February of 1946 with the Rank of Lance Corporal. He was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion for about 30 years. John passed away in November of 1984. In 2003, his wife received the Dutch Medal, which was given in recognition of the Canadians who freed Holland. PEPPER, Frederick WWII Frederick was born in 1914 in Rozilee, SK. He enlisted with the Army and served with the R.C.O.C. as Staff Sergeant in Regina during the war. He was a Chartered Accountant. Frederick passed away in 2003.
