He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army during the war and served in Canada until his discharge. John passed away in 2000. BALMER, Archie WWII & Korea Archie served the Canadian Armed Forces in England & Europe 1943-1945, and Fort Lewis. He served in Washington, & Korea 1950-1952. He was part of the UN Police Force in Egypt & the Middle East 1956-1957. He was with the RCEMA at Whitehorse, Yukon 1957-1960. Archie returned to Sardis Ontario. BANDURA, Frank WWII Frank joined the Royal Canadian Army 1942 and completed basic training in Regina. He was transferred overseas with the Artillery Infantry. He served in Canada, United Kingdom, and Continental Europe such as France and Germany. He returned to Canada severely shell-shocked in 1946 and was discharged. He received the War medal (1939-45) Canadian Volunteer Service medal & Clasp, France & Germany Star, Defense Medal and the 1939 - 1945 Star. BALMER, Jack WWII Jack served with the first Hussarʼs in the Second World War.
