He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and England. He also served with the R.N.V.R. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal for his service. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #17 for over 50 years. James passed away in 1995. MOLSTAD, William WWII William was born in 1915 in Neville, SK. He enlisted with the Army and served in Canada until his discharge. William passed away in 2006. MONTGOMERY, Douglas Monnie WWII Douglas was born on April 16, 1924 in Wapella, SK. He attended Wapella School and graduated in 1941. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and trained in Canada at several Air force bases and then he went to England. He served until the end of the war and was part of many dangerous missions. He served as a Gunner and as a Radio Operator. After the war he moved to Trail, BC and married Enes, and they had a family of 3 children. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for 40 years. Doug passed away on April 12, 2003. MONAGHAN, William WWI When the FIRST World War broke out, William joined the Army and served in the trenches of France until 1918.
