The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 129 GLEN, Elwood Davis WWII Elwood was born in 1924 in Neville, SK. He enlisted with the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Artillery in Canada until his discharge. Elwood is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #328 for 40 years. GLOVER, Adam Murray WWII Adam was born in 1909 in North Bay, ON. He fought in WWII in the Canadian Army with the R.C.C.E. and then soon after transferred to the R.C.C.S. He served in England, the Mediterranean, N.W. Europe and Canada earning the 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defense Medal, CVSM and Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45. After the war he was active in many community events and clubs. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon MB Branch #73. Adam passed away in 1985. GOLDBECK, Alvin WWII Alvin was born in 1915 in Denmark. He served with the Army during World War II. After the war he joined The Royal Canadian Legion in Kelowna. Alvin passed away in 1994. GODDARD, Robert WWII Robert was born in 1922 in New Brunswick. In 1925, he moved to Wordsworth. In 1939, he enlisted in the Canadian Army. He joined the 23rd detachment of the South Saskatchewan Regiment, and was discharged in 1945. He was awarded the Italy Star Medal for entry into operational service on land in Sicily or Italy.
