The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 107 DUNDAS, Kenelm Crispin Vivian WWII Kenelm joined Air force Feb. 10, 1942 and served as a pilot. He was killed in action over Malaysia on photo reconn mission. He had flown bombing raids over N. Africa and Greece. He was single and 26 years of age. Kenelm was the son of Cospatrick & Isabella Dundas DUSYK, Michael WWII Michael was born on November 21, 1919 near Montmarte, SK. In March of 1940 he joined the R.C.E. In July of 1942 he was transferred to Vancouver, at which time he was promoted to Corporal. In December of 1942 he was sent overseas. He arrived in England on March 17, 1943. On February 2, 1944 he left England for Italy with the 14th Field Company R.C.E. and served on the Front Lines. On September 27, 1944 Michael died of wounds received while on active duty at the age of 24. He received the 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, Defense Medal, War Medal 1939-45, and the CVSM and Clasp. EARL, Ivan D. WWII Ivan was born on May 24, 1924 in Saskatoon, SK. He joined the Army in 1943. He joined the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Sept. of 1944 as an Infantry Soldier. He first saw action in Belgium and he was promoted to full Cpl. within a month. They soon found themselves pursuing the Germans in Holland. Eventually the Leopold Canal was crossed and fighting became fierce. Shortly after he was wounded in the thigh by machine gun fire. At the end of hostilities, he transferred to the Regina Rifles Regiment for Occupational duties Germany. Ivan is a member of The RCL. DYKUN, J. WWII Sergeant J. Dykun was a member of the 1st Canadian Special Services Battalion, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps. He died on December 6, 1943 at age 23 and is buried in the Cassio War Cemetery, Italy.
