FEDORCHUK, Walter WWII Walter was born on November 9, 1924 in Insinger, SK. He attended Yemen school and completed high school in Insinger and Sheho. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F. in November of 1942 and did his basic training in Saskatoon. In May of 1944 he received the rank of Sergeant and left Canada to serve overseas as a Flight Engineer. In England he received the rank Pilot Officer. Walter was killed in action on February 15, 1945 off the coast of Sweden. FENIUK, George WWII George served with the Royal Canadian Army Corps during the war. He served in Canada until his discharge. After the war he worked for the C.P.R. for 25 years. George is a member of the Foam Lake Legion where he currently resides. No Photo FENNER, Oliver WWII Oliver was born on May 21, 1904 in Cooperstown, North Dakota. He immigrated with his family to Yeoman, SK in 1904. He enlisted with the R.C.N. in 1940 and served in England and in Dieppe. He was severely wounded in both legs and was discharged on May 12, 1943. He received the MM for bravery in the field. He was a member of the Coronach Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion #268. Oliver passed away in 1960. FERGUSON, Adam WWII Adam enlisted in the Canadian Army on August 22, 1941. He served with the 13th Field Royal Canadian Artillery 3rd Division in England and Continental Europe until his discharge on January 15, 1946 with the rank of Gunner. He returned to Sheho after the war. He is married and has 2 sons and one daughter. Adam is retired and currently resides in British Columbia. FERGUSON, Ken WWI Ken came from the U.S.A. to Liberty, SK and filed for a homestead in the Addington area. He enlisted with Royal Canadian Army in 1914. He served overseas and was killed in action.
