DʼAOUST, Lambert WWII Lambert was born on August 27, 1920 in Zenon Park, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.A. on May 19, 1941. He served in Canada, England, North Africa, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on December 8th, 1945. Lambert passed away in 1963 in Toronto, ON. DACIW, Matt WWII Matt was born in the Insinger District and he attended Wolkowitz School. He enlisted with the Canadian Army on July 31, 1942 in Regina and took his basic training there for 2 months. He was then transferred to the 24th Field Regiment in Nanaimo BC. He served in Canada, USA and the Aleutian Islands before his discharge on March 23, 1946. He married Elsie Moroz and they have 1 daughter. Matt is an active member of the Sheho Legion Branch and has served as President for four years. DACIW, Wasyl WWI Wasyl was born in Insinger, SK and attended Wolkowitz School. He enlisted with the Canadian Expeditionary Force on May 28, 1918. He served for three months with the 1st Depot Battalion Saksatchewan Regiment and the 12th Battalion Canadian Garrison Regiment until his discharge in August 23, 1918 with the rank of Private. After his service he married Mary Zatwarniski and they raised 5 children. Wasyl is deceased and is buried in Thunder Bay, Ontario. DAGG, Doris WWII Doris was born in 1922 in Arborfield, SK. She enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on July 25, 1942 and served in Canada until her discharge on June 20, 1944. She was married while serving and later moved to Edmonton, AB. DAGG, Stan WWII Stan was born in 1917. He came with his family to the Arborfield area in 1933. He enlisted with the R.C.A. on July 20, 1940. He served in Canada, England, France, Belgium, and Germany until his discharge on January 3, 1946. Stan passed away in 1986. The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 73
