CUMMINGS, Harold WWII Harold was born in 1912 near Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Army on June 3, 1942. He served with the Canadian Intelligence Corps in Canada until his discharge on May 29, 1946. He was also a Pacific Volunteer. After the war he married and moved to BC. Harold is deceased. CURRAN, George Thomas WWII George was born in 1923 in Moose Jaw, SK and he grew up in Coronach, SK. He joined the Navy in 1942 and had basic training on the H.M.C.S. Queens in Regina and Victoria, BC. He served aboard H.M.C.S. Prince David for the rest of the war on the High Seas, in Italy, Greece, France, and in the Atlantic until his discharge in 1946. He returned home to Coronach where he married, raised a family and ran a fuel business for 50 years. George was a faithful member of the Coronach Legion #268 for 55 years before he passed away on August 7, 2006. CURRANS, Thomas WWI Thomas came to Elstow, SK from County Down, Ireland. He enlisted with the Canadian Army on March 20, 1916. He served with the 183rd Battalion until his discharge. He received soldierʼs grant land on March 14th, 1918 in the Arborfield area. He married Alice in 1929. He was a member of the Arborfield Branch #203 of the British Empire Service League and an active member of the Arborfield Legion. Thomas passed away on January 7, 1961. No Photo CURRY, Bud WWII Bud was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on January 15, 1940. He served in England and Canada until his discharge on September 9, 1945 with the rank of Flight Lieutenant Pilot. He married Theresa Gregoire in 1940 and they had three sons and two daughters. Bud settled in Ottawa, ON and was employed for 31 years with the Immigration Department. He retired as Secretary General Facilitation, Enforcement and Control in 1977. CURRY (nee Jardine) , Doreen L. WWII Doreen was born in Sheho, SK where she attended elementary and completed High School. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force Womenʼs Division in November of 1942 served until her discharge in July of 1946. She was employed in Administration at No. 3 F.I.S. Arnprior, No. 1 C.N.S. Rivers, and No. 7 Manning Depot Rockcliffe. She attended McGill University from 1946-1950. In 1950 she began to work at Atomic Energy Chalk River Nuclear Labs.
