He served with the R.C.A. 19th Field Company as a Driver Mechanic in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on January 21, 1946. CASTONGUAY, Wilfred WWII Wilfred was born on April 4, 1918 in Zenon Park, SK. He enlisted with the Army on August 22, 1940. He served as a Welder with the R.C.E. 13th Battalion in Canada, England, Scotland, France (was wounded in action), Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge in 1946. CAUGHLIN, Cecil Duncan Peacetime Cecil was born on February 4, 1933 in Esterhazy, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1954. He served for 25 years, January 1955 to December 1979 at many stations across Canada, with a yearʼs tour of duty with the United Nations in the Sinai at El Arish, Egypt, and, also a tour in Germany, 1966-1970 with the 4th Allied Tactical Air Force until his discharge in December of 1979. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Chilliwack Branch #4 for 30 years. Cecil currently resides in Chilliwack, BC. CAUGHLIN, Edward James WWI Edward was born in 1895 in Clearwater, Manitoba. He joined the RCMP in 1975 and served at Regina and Langenburg Detachments. Garry is a member of the Abernethy Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion.
