CAOUETTE, Armand WWII Armand was born on October 3, 1915 in Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Army, R.C.E., 1st Field Company on July 29, 1941. He served as Sapper in Canada, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. He was also a Pacific Volunteer and received his discharge on November 16, 1945. He received the following medals: Stars of Italy, Germany and France, C.V.S.M., Defense Medal, King George, and the Dutch “Thank You Canada” Medal. He was a Life Member of the Arborfield Legion and received his 60-year pin in 2005. Armand passed away on May 6, 2006. CARPENTIER, Albert WWII Albert was born in Zenon Park, SK. He enlisted with the Army on February 3, 1943. He served with the 21st Battery, 20th Regiment as Gunner in Canada until his discharge on April 8, 1946. After the war he was married and they lived in Port McNeill. CARR, William George Moss WWI William was born in 1871 in Battersea, England. He enlisted with the Canadian Expeditionary Force 45th overseas Battalion in March of 1915 in Yorkton, SK. He was transferred to the 1st CMR 3rd Division 8th Brigade. He served in Canada, England, France, and Belgium and was wounded at St. Eloi before his discharge in February of 1917. After his discharge he returned to Stoughton and later moved to Maryfield and then Heward, SK. William passed away in 1953. CARRIER, Joseph WWII Joseph was born on October 25, 1919 in Zenon Park, SK. He enlisted with the Army in May of 1941. He served in Canada, England, Holland, and in CAO forces in Germany until his discharge on February 26, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Williams Lake, BC. CARRIER, Raymond WWII Raymond was born on July 26, 1921 in Zenon Park, SK. He enlisted with the Army on April 17, 1943. He served with the Regina Rifles Regiment as a Transport Driver in Canada, England, Holland, Belgium, and Germany until his discharge on June 10, 1946.
