WINTER, Charles Ambrose WWII Charles was born in April of 1920 in Coronach, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in January of 1942 and served in England and Canada until his discharge in February of 1946. He married Elvina Schmidt in 1949 and they started to farm east of Coronach until retirement in 1987. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Coronach Branch #268 for 48 years. Charles passed away in February of 2001. WIRTH, Theodor “Ted” WWII Ted joined the Army during the Second World War and served with Infantry, 3rd Division, Lorne Scotts. No Photo WOLFE, Frank WWII Frank was born near Markinch, SK. He enlisted with the Army on November 29, 1942 and served with the 28th Canadian Armed Regiment Tank Corps in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on February 24, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Regina. Frank passed away on February 15, 1984. WOLFE, John WWII John was born near Markinch, SK. He enlisted with the Army in November of 1941. He served with the Saskatchewan Horse Regiment, Secret Service in Canada, England, India, France, Belgium and Holland until his discharge on January 31, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Saskatoon. John passed away on December 16, 1998. WOLFE, Seigfred WWII Seigfred was born in 1920. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps on December 2, 1941. He served with the 83rd Coy in Canada, England, Africa, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on January 31, 1946.
