VINEYARD, Allan WWII Allan was born on August 5, 1923. He enlisted with the Army on October 30, 1942 and was transferred to Paratroops. He then transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and England until his discharge on February 21, 1946. After the war he married and moved to Burnaby, BC where they raised their children. WALKER, Drayton Ernest WWI & WWII Drayton was born in August of 1900 in Maple Creek, N.W.T. He enlisted with the Air Force in 1918 and served in Canada. He became a member of the Militia from 1927-39. At the outbreak of the war in September of 1939, he was assigned to the S.L.I. and served overseas until his discharge as Lt. Col. Drayton. He married Margaret Alice Campbell in 1929 and they raised a family of 3 sons. He passed away on November 15, 1975. WALKER, Robert James WWII Robert was born on July 18, 1915 in Bickleighy, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada as a Sgt Bombardier/Navigator. He was a Life Member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #199 with membership of over 35 years. Robert passed away on July 12, 1997. WALTERS, Elmer WWII Elmer was born in Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Army on August 10, 1944. He served with the P.P.L. Infantry in Canada until his discharge on May 15, 1946. After the war he married and moved to BC. WALTERS, Jack WWII Jack came with his parents to Arborfield in 1929. He enlisted with the Army in July of 1941. He served with the R.C.E. in Canada, England, Belgium, and Holland. He was C.A.O.F. and CCC unit in Germany until 1947. After the war he moved to Saskatoon.
