TESSIMER, Lellis WWII Lellis was married in 1932 and they took up a homestead in the Arborfield area. They later moved in 1934 to another homestead close by. He enlisted with the Army on May 12, 1941. He served with the Saskatchewan Horse Regiment in Canada until his discharge on August 18, 1942. After his discharge they moved to Somme, SK and raised a family of 4 children. THESEN, Eric Peacekeeping Eric was born in 1965 in Arborfield, SK. He went to school in Arborfield and attended the University in Saskatoon. He enlisted with the R.C.R. on September 1, 1988. After his training he went as a Peace Keeper on duty tours to: Cypress, Bosnia, Germany, Lahr, Croatia, Macedonia, and Yugoslavia. He has accumulated 6 medals from these tours overseas. In 2002 he received the Queenʼs Golden Jubilee Medal, this medal was given to citizens for their outstanding achievement or service to their country. Eric is currently a Construction Technician for the Military. THOMAS, Cyril WWI Cyril was born in 1895 in England. He served with the Army during World War One. He arrived in Canada in the spring of 1927 and he took up a homestead. He moved into town for the winter and farmed during the summer. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Arborfield Branch #203. Cyril passed away in 1967. No Photo THOMPSON, Adam WWII Adam was born in 1913 in Lairg, Scotland. He enlisted with the Army on October 13, 1940 and served in Canada until July 19, 1941. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Whitewood Branch #87 for 30 years. Adam passed away in 1981. THOMPSON, James “Scotty” WWII Scotty came to the Arborfield area in 1915 to homestead. He enlisted with the Army on June 18, 1940. He served with the Regina Rifles in Canada and England until his discharge on October 20, 1945. Scotty moved to Vancouver in the later years where he passed away and is buried.
