SEBULSKI, Andrew WWII Andrew was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Army in July of 1942 and served with the 31st Anti-Aircraft Battery, 28th Regiment in Canada. He married Mary Bohush in September of 1946 and they raised two children. He joined the Sheho Legion Branch in 1948; he was President for four years, Treasurer for eleven years and on various other committees. Andrew is a Life Member of The Royal Canadian Legion. SEBULSKI, Matt WWII Matt was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Army in September of 1942 and served with the 31st Anti-Aircraft Battery, 28th Regiment in Canada until his discharge in December of 1944. He was employed as a carpenter at Mill Wright constructing Saw Mills in the Vancouver are. He married Edith Ludwig in May of 1946 and they raised a family of five children. Matt passed away in July of 1961. SEMENIUK, Nick WWII Nick enlisted with the Army in January of 1943 and served with the Infantry in Canada, England and Continental Europe until his discharge in April of 1946 with the rank of Private. He went back to farming in the Tuffnell area until 1976 when he sold his farm to his nephew and moved to Foam Lake. Nick has been actively involved with the Sheho Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion for many years and was President for 2 years and treasurer for 12 years. SERVATIUS, John Raymond WWII John was born in 1914 in Melrose, Minnesota. He immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1920. He enlisted with the Canadian Army when the Second World War broke out. In September of 1944 he was wounded in action in France. A piece of shrapnel went into his stomach and he spent the next several months in hospitals and returned home to Canada on January 25th, 1945. He was discharged from the Army on May 25, 1945 and was awarded four medals. John passed away on March 18, 1984. SHANNON, Thomas M. WWI Thomas was born in Kinistino, SK. He joined the Army and served in the First World War in France. He was wounded with shrapnel and received the Military Medal for his service.
