SANDBERG, Earl WWII Earl was born in 1922 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Armed Forces during World War Two. He served in Canada and in Continental Europe until his discharge. He returned to Canada and married Erna Molson and they raised a family of four daughters. They operated a taxi business for a number of years and later Earl drove large transport trucks in Canada and the US. Earl passed away in February of 1984. SANDBERG, Freeman WWII Freeman was born in February of 1914 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1942 and served for four years in Canada until his discharge in 1946. After the war he returned to Sheho and worked as a farm laborer. Freeman is deceased. SANDBERG, Norman WWII Norman was born on February 26, 1917 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1942 and served for four years until his discharge in January of 1946.He married Anne Mikkonan. After his discharge he started working in Foam Lake and later moved to Norman in 1952 to operate his own garage. Norman passed away in 1977. SANDBERG, Truman WWII Truman was born in 1920 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.A. in the beginning of the Second World War and served in England and in Continental Europe until the end of the war. After his discharge he returned home to Sheho. He later worked for his brother Norman in Leslie, SK. Truman passed away on August 1, 1989. SAWCHUK, Josephine Loverna WWII Josephine was born on February 9, 1918 in Sheho, SK. She enlisted with the R.C.A.M.C. on February 28, 1944. She served in Canada and England until her discharge on October 8, 1946 with the rank of Lieutenant. She received the following decorations: the War Medal 1939-45 and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. She married in 1947 and she and her husband raised a family of four children.
