ROSS, Clarence James WWII Clarence was born in 1916 in North Dakota. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army in 1939 and served in Nova Scotia and Alberta until 1945. Clarence passed away in 1992. ROSS, Leith WWII Leithʼs family moved to a homestead in the Arborfield District on October 31st, 1938. He enlisted with the R.C.A. on September 10, 1942. He transferred to the Canadian Forestry Corps, 20th Coy Regiment Police and served in Canada, England and Scotland until his discharge on February 13, 1946. After the war he went to Prince George, BC to work in the Pulp Mill. ROURKE, Herb WWII Herb acquired a homestead in Crooked River in 1923. He enlisted with the Army on July 11, 1942. He served with the R.C.E.M.E. as a Mechanic in Canada and England until his discharge on March 8, 1946. After the war he moved to Nipawin, he operated the garage at Allsham until it was destroyed by fire. Herb passed away in 1970. ROY, Clement WWII Clement was born in 1917 in Quebec. His parents left Quebec in 1936 to farm in Archerwill, SK. Clement went back to Quebec and the family went to Zenon Park in 1941 to farm there. He enlisted with the Army in September of 1939 and served as a Gas Mask Instructor in Canada until his discharge in December of 1944. Clement still resides in Quebec. ROY, Rolland WWII Rolland was born in 1919 in Quebec. He came with his parent in 1936 to farm in Archerwill, SK. They moved to Zenon Park in 1941 to farm there. He enlisted with the Army on June 18, 1941 and served with the Regina Rifles Regiment in Canada until his discharge on June 12, 1944. He married in 1945 in Zenon Park and bought a butcher shop and built a locker plant and operated these for 17 years. He moved his family to St. Boniface where he got a diploma in Refrigeration.
