He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and served in Europe until his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Big River Branch #136 for 54 years. William passed away in 2003. PRIMA, Mike WWII Mike was born in 1921 in Rosthern, SK. He enlisted with the Army in 1941 in Winnipeg at the age of 20. He was placed in the Third Division of the Canadian Infantry, 8th Brigade and was stationed in Red Deer until he was sent to Aldershot, England to continue his service. He served in France, Germany, England and Holland until his discharge. PROUST, Alcide Joseph WWII Alcide was born in 1919 in Pontiex, SK. He enlisted with the Army in 1941 and served with the Rocky Mountain Rangers in Canada and overseas until his discharge in May of 1945. After his discharge he started farming with his dad. Alcide was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Cadillac Branch #296 for 35 years until it closed. He transferred to the Beechy Branch #324 and has been a member there for 12 years.
