PENMAN, John WWI John was born on October 12, 1895 in Kingsley, Manitoba. He came to Jordan River with his brother in 1915 to file for homesteads. He enlisted with the Army and served with the 78th Battalion overseas. After the war he continued to farm and he married in 1932 and they raised a family of five children. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Arborfield Branch #203. John passed away on January 8, 1986. No Photo PERKINS, Frank WWI Frank was born in 1884. He enlisted with the Army during WWI. He came to Megan after the war and took up land through the Soldierʼs Settlement in 1921. He sold his farm to his nephew in 1948 and moved to Nokomis, SK. Frank passed away in 1970. PERRIN, Carl WWII Carl was born on December 17, 1919 in Elrose, SK. His family moved to the Arborfield area in 1936. He enlisted with the R.C.E. on June 19, 1941 and served as a Machinist with the 9th Field Squadron in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on January 4, 1946. He bought land, married and raised a family of 5. Carl passed away on March 29, 2000. PERRIN, Howard WWII Howard was born in June of 1918 in Rosetown, SK. His family moved to the Arborfield area in 1936. He enlisted with the R.C.E. in March on 1941. He served as an Electrician in Canada, England, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on December 6, 1945. He was married in 1948 and ran a furniture store for a while in Arborfield. Howard passed away on May 16, 1973. PERZAN, Mike WWII Mike enlisted with the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He served in Canada, England and in Europe.
