PENDLETON, James WWII James was born in July of 1917 in Tugaske, SK. He enlisted with the Army Tank Corps on January 28, 1942 and served in Canada, England, and Germany and volunteered for Pacific Duty. He received his discharge in March of 1946. After the war he later moved to Melfort. PENDLETON, William WWII William was born in 1917 in Tugaske, SK. He enlisted with the Army, Queenʼs Own Cameron Highlanders in September 29, 1940 and served in Canada, England, France and Holland. William was killed in action in Holland on October 28, 1944 at St. Martinʼs Dyke, Holland. He is buried at Bergenop Zoom Canadian War Cemetery. He received the following medals: Star of France, King George and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. PENIL, Albert WWII Albert was born on February 21, 1914 in Mayberry, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.E. 17th Field Coy in June of 1943. He served as a Driver in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge on December 22, 1945. He married and they raised a family of four children. Albert passed away on June 9, 1976. PENIL, Louis WWII Louis was born on August 31, 1911 in Mayberry, SK. He moved with his family to New Osgoode in 1929 to homestead. He enlisted with the Army in 1943 and served in Canada and England until his discharge in 1945. He married a widow with 2 girls and they moved back to New Osgoode and they had another girl. Louis passed away on August 29, 1982. PENIL, Wilfred WWII Wilfred was born on July 11, 1907 in the U.S.A. He later moved with his parents to Mayberry, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps on April 24, 1943. He served as a Butcher in Canada until his discharge on October 15, 1945.
