OGILBY, Bill WWII Bill was born on January 3, 1920 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Army in 1941 and served with the 110th Field Battery, 15th Field Regiment, R.C.A. in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge in 1946. He received the following decorations: Canada Voluntary Service, 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, and George VI CBR. OMN. He married Anna Voge in 1949 and they lived in Calgary. OLIPHANT, Jack WWII Jack was born in 1920 in Aberdeen, Scotland. He came to Canada with his family and they homesteaded in the Megan area in 1929. He enlisted with the R.C.E. N.O.I.R.V. on May 15, 1941. He served as an Electrical Engineer in Canada and England. Jack drowned in the English Channel on July 15, 1945. He is buried in Aberdeen, Scotland. OLIPHANT, John “Scottie” WWI Scottie was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He enlisted with the Army and served overseas during WWI. He married Isabelle in Scotland in 1919. They came to Canada in 1920 to settle in Brandon, MB. He was a member of the Brandon Police Force. They moved to Arborfield in 1953 and he served a term as town policeman. John passed away in 1967. No Photo OLSON, Leo Jess WWII Leo was born in 1925 in Bismarck, North Dakota. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army and served as a dispatch motorcycle rider in Canada, England, and Europe. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Big River Branch #136. Leo passed away in 1991. ONUFRYCHUK, Wade Peacetime Wade enlisted with the Air Force on June 9, 1982. He is a currently serving as Corporal as an Aero Engine Technician, serving at 19 Wing Comox with the 414 Black Knight, Electronic Warfare Squadron. He has received the CD Medal (12 years of good service medal). He is married to Debbie and they have two children. Wade is very proud of the Canadian Armed Forces, and the Country he serves.
