MOULDING, Fred WWI Fred was born on June 12, 1897 in Yorkshire, England. He enlisted with the Army on December 4, 1917. Following his enlistment, Fred apparently was stricken with a case of Red Measles which rendered him unfit for military service and was discharged on June 11, 1918. He served in Canada until his discharge. Fred passed away in 1993. MOULDING, George E. WWII George was born in 1920 in Lemberg, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army and served in Canada until his discharge. He received the Canadian Volunteer Medal and the King George VI Medal, 1939-45. George passed away in 2007. MOULDING, William Henry “Harry” WWII William was born in 1916 in Lemberg, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F. on November 6 1939 at the recruiting depot in Regina and was accepted in the wireless operator ground (WOG) trade serving in Canada. Because of the end of hostilities, Sgt. W.H. Moulding applied for his discharge on August 6, 1945 and returned to take over the family farm near Abernethy, Saskatchewan. William has been a member of the Abernethy Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion for sixty-two years. MOYEN, Maurice WWII Maurice was born in 1913 in St. Denis, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in June of 1942 and served in Canada until his discharge in July of 1945. He married before enlisting with the Army. After the war, he moved to Surrey, BC. MOYEN, Robert WWII Robert was born in 1916 in St. Denis, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army in November of 1944 and served in Canada until his discharge in December of 1944. After the war, he moved to Edmonton, AB.
