MOROZ, George WWII George enlisted with the Army and served with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment in France, Germany, Italy, England, and Canada until his discharge in June of 1946. He received the following medals for his service: 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, Italy Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Sheho Branch #356. George passed away on June 11, 1993. MOROZ, Mourice WWII Mourice was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Canadian Army Active in June of 1941. He received the following Medals: Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, and Defense Medal. After the war ended he re-enlisted and served with the Occupational Forces in Germany for 2 years. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion Sheho Branch #356 in 1967. Mourice passed away on January 29, 1985. MOROZ, Peter “Bert” WWII Bert was born in 1919 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Canadian Army Active in May of 1942. He served in Canada until his discharge in December of 1944. While in service he married Alice Robertson in October of 1942, they have 2 children. He joined the Sheho Legion Branch in 1950 and served as Branch President for four years. Bert continues to undertake many jobs for the Branch. MORROW, Lawrence WWII Lawrence came to homestead in the Connell Creek area in November of 1936 with his wife. He enlisted with the Army on May 13, 1941. He served with the Counter Espionage Service in Canada, England, Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on September 21, 1945. He sold out his farm in 1956 and went to work for the Federal Government. MOSS, Clifford WWII Clifford was born on October 1, 1923 in Tisdale, SK. He joined the R.C.N. at the age of 19 and served aboard H.M.C.S. Fort Erie. This ship was on patrol and escort duties from the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the North Atlantic including areas around Norway, Sweden and England. Discharged at the end of the war as a Leading Seaman, Clifford has been a member of the Shellbrook Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion for 35 years.
