MELROSE, Gerald WWII Gerald was born in 1920 in Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, 65 Tank Transport on June 19, 1941. He served as a Tank Driver in Canada and was injured in a truck accident at Camp Borden on February 4, 1942. He received his discharge on May 12, 1942. After the war he married and moved to Edmonton where he was a Commissionaire. Gerald passed away in 1960. MELROSE, Stuart WWII Stuart was born in 1923 in Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.N.V.R. on July 13, 1943 and served aboard the H.M.C. Mine Layer Q058 until his discharge on October 4, 1945. After the war he married and now currently resides in Ontario with his wife and 2 children. MELVIN, Ralph Edgar WWII Ralph was born in 1923 in Webb, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and England. Ralph passed away in 2002. MENNING, John WWII John was born in 1923 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He came with his family to the Arborfield area in 1929. He enlisted with the Army, P.A. Volunteers on January 6, 1943 and served in Canada until his discharge in February of 1946. After the war he returned to farm and later married. He took up new land in Carrot River and moved the family there in 1965. John passed away on December 26, 1997. MERRIMAN, Allan WWII Allan enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force Service Police in January of 1942.
