McLEOD, Don WWII Don enlisted with the Army on January 6, 1943. He served as a Paratrooper in Canada and the United States until his discharge in 1946. McNABB, Donald Alvin WWII Donald was born on March 15, 1918 in Stoughton, SK. He joined the 67th L.A.A. at Rosetown and was sent to Petawawa, Ontario before going overseas. He served in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean, and Continental Europe. He was discharged in September 1945. He then returned home and married Helen Collins and they had 2 children. Donald passed away on December 13, 1981. MEACHEM, Ralph WWII Ralph was born in 1917 in Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Army on June 19, 1941. He served in Canada until his discharge on March 10, 1942. After the war he married and raised 3 children. The family later moved to Fort St. John, BC. MEACHERN, Frank WWI Frank was born in Wimblebury, England. The family moved to Rossland, BC in 1906. He enlisted with the Canadian Army and served during WWI. After the war he got married and settled in the Arborfield area. They eventually moved with their 3 children to Trail, BC. Frank is deceased. No Photo MEADOWS, Edwin WWI Edwin was born on January 7, 1895 at Milton Keynes in the county of Buckinghamshire England. He came to Canada at the age of 17 and worked on a farm in Manitoba and later came to Regina. He joined the Army in November of 1915 and served with the 46th Division, 10th CMRʼs in England, Belgium and France until his discharge in June of 1919. He married Gertrude Gooding on March 3, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Whitewood Branch #87. Edwin passed away on May 22, 1950.
