MARIENHOFF, Leonard WWII Leonard enlisted with the Army on July 11, 1941. He served with the British Columbia Dragoons as a Bookkeeper in Canada, England, and Italy until his discharge on January 10, 1946. MARRIOTT, Stanley Dailey WWII Stanley was born on March 19, 1923 in Moose Jaw, SK. He enlisted and was a tail gunner in the R.C.A.F. in 1943. He served in France and Germany until his discharge in 1945. On his return home he worked for farmers in the Tompkins area. He was a bachelor and a very avid reader. He also enjoyed classical music. Stanley passed away on May 24, 1976 as a result of a severe stroke. MARTIN, Freddy WWI Freddy was born in England. He enlisted with the Army during WWI and was wounded in battle. He lived in Lockwood, SK before coming to the Megan area to get a homestead. Freddy passed away in BC and is buried there. No Photo MARTIN, Ray Stewart WWII Ray was born on January 30, 1919 in Cabri, SK. He enlisted with the Canadian Army 12 Airdrome Defense on April 1, 1942. He served in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe until his discharge on March 6, 1946. MARTMAN, Bob WWII Bob was born on September 7, 1924. He came to the Arborfield area in 1939 with his parents and sister. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on August 18, 1943 and served as an Air Gunner in Canada until his discharge in 1946.
