KREPTUL, Alex WWII Alex was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in July of 1941. He was attached to the Bomber Squadron No. 419. He served in England and Canada until his discharge on September 5, 1945 with the rank of Leading Aircraft Man. After the war he did electrical work and then moved to Calgary and started a business servicing appliances. He was married to Ann Dumanski. Alex passed away in December of 1978. KREPTUL, Steve WWII Steve was born on March 4, 1917 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII and served in Canada until the end of the war. After his discharge he returned home to Sheho. He married Sophie Husulak on October 6, 1946. They lived and worked on the Husulak farm and eventually purchased it. Steve passed away on March 2, 1981. KRESOWATY, Steve WWII Steve was born on January 1, 1918 in Winthorpe, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Army in the fall of 1939 and was shortly transferred overseas as a truck driver for army supplies, ammunition, etc. serving in Holland and France until his discharge. In 1947, Steve married Mary Meleschak and raised four children. He received the Star-France-Germany Medal, the 1939-45 Star, the Defense Medal, the Volunteer Service Medal. Steve died of a heart attack on June 9, 1988. KRISLOCK, Norman Allen WWII Norman was born in 1923 in Swift Current, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as Ground Crew in Canada. Norman passed away in 2004. KUCHERAN, Metro WWII Metro was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Canadian Army in 1943. He served with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Canada until his discharge in March of 1946. After the war he returned to Sheho and farmed. He later went to Red Lake Ontario and worked in the mines and at the same time he bought a garage business. He married Mary and they raised one daughter and two sons.
