KORPATNISKI, Fred WWII Fred was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Army on May 17, 1944. He served in the Army as R.C.C.S. in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe until his discharge on May 30, 1946 with the rank of SIGMN. He married Ranka and they had 2 daughters and 1 son and in 1949 they returned to Sheho. In 1950 he received land in Carrot River under the V.L.A. Fred is a member of the Nokomis Legion Branch #290 of The Royal Canadian Legion. KOSHMAN, Fred WWII Fred was born on February 15, 1920 in Insinger, SK. He attended Yemen school until 10th grade, Insinger High School for 11th and 12th grade and then he went onto Central Collegiate Institute. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Navy on June 10, 1941. Fred served on the West Coast, in Alaska and Newfoundland until his discharge on September 20, 1945 with the rank of Petty Officer. He married Ann on July 18, 1943 and raised 2 children. KOSHMAN, George WWII George was born in Insinger, SK. He joined the Army and served in Canada during the Second World War. He joined the Sheho Legion Branch #356 and served for a few years. George is retired and currently resides in Regina, SK. No Photo KOWALCHUK, Matt WWII Matt enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in June of 1943. He served in Canada and England as a wireless Navigator until his discharge in September of 1945. After the war he re-enlisted with the Air Force and served for a number of years. He is married to Olga and they are retired and living in Calgary. Matt is a Life Member of the Calgary Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion. KOZAKEWICH, Mike WWII Mike was born in Sheho, SK. He joined the Canadian Army Active in February of 1943 at the Regina Depot. He served with the R.C.A.S.C. in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe until his discharge on August 22, 1946 with the rank of Private. After his discharge he farmed for 20 years.
