KELLY, James “Jim” WWI & WWII Jim was born on November 16, 1898 in England. He enlisted with the Army on February 3, 1914 and served in England until February 2, 1920. He came to Canada in 1925 and joined the R.C.M.P. and came to the Arborfield area in 1929 to homestead. He re-enlisted with the Army on June 3, 1943 and served as a Police Escort until March 19, 1946. Jim passed away on May 13, 1970. KERELUKE, Metro WWII Metro enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on July 25, 1942. He joined the Radar, Air and Ground and reported for active duty in September of 1942. He served in Canada and in England until his discharge in September 5, 1945. After the war he enrolled in the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1947, Bachelor of Education in 1948 and his Master in Education in 1949. He worked for the Government until 1961 when he took a position with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool where he stayed until his retirement in 1981. KERELUKE, William WWII William served as a Squadron Leader in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII in Canada and England until his discharge. After the war he owned a hotel for 10 years. Later he was a Director of St. Vlad. Institute in Toronto. William is married to Adella and they are now enjoying their retirement in Toronto. KERR, Cecil L. WWII Cecil was born in 1924 in Stoughton, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He served aboard the HMCS Loch Alvie (frigate) in the High Seas until his discharge. Cecil passed away in 2004. KIMBER, Clement C. “Clem” WWII Clem was born on November 27, 1917 in Maple Creek, SK. He enlisted with the Army in the 1st, Saskatchewan Horse in 1941 and served in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe. In 1948, Clem married Dolly McBee and raised seven children.
